Our winterfurhats.com moccasins are true to the originals developed hundreds of years ago, and are made expressly for us by our regional first nations artisans. Hand made from our own selection of split cowhide, our craftspeople start with a simple 5 piece pattern, then select the leather and hand cut each pair. Because we have many First Nations craftsman working independently to hand make each pair of our moccasins, we are able to supply you only by size and trim. Choices of beadwork are, unfortunately, not possible, as we never know which patterns our artisans will deliver from week to week. Made in Manitoba and Northern Ontario, where our first nations craftspeople have resided for generations. Our “Manitobah Mukluks” selection of moccasins is produced in Winnipeg by this Aboriginal owned company. We are proud to be among the few retailers who have supported this company for two decades, through its days as Fleece Line and now Manitobah Mukluks!
